Event description
The Innsbruck Alpine Trailrun Festival is a special highlight in the European trail running season. As a unique event, it brings together an enthusiastic community and offers both experienced trail runners and trail beginners a great program full of fun and alpine-urban experiences.
Volunteering opportunities
This year we are expecting over 4,000 participants at the Innsbruck Alpine Trailrun Festival, to whom we want to offer a unique trail event – and that’s exactly why we’re looking for YOU! If you are motivated, committed and want to be up close and personal with a major running event, then You are in the right place! Your positions can be:
- Sports & competition:
1) Track marshals: you supervise the sections of the course, carry out the passage control and motivate the runners
2) Miscellaneous: Everything about the sporting management of the competition
- Event operation:
1) Aid stations: You will be in charge of one the numerous aid stations, providing the runners along the course with Tyrolean food and motivation.
2) Race bib distribution/equipment check: You support our team in taking care of the athletes before the start
3) Other: Everything around the event – from packing the starter bags for all participants to shuttle drivers and help at the award ceremony.
- Event venue:
1) Branding: You take care of the branding of the event area
2) Expo Support: You take care of the event-venue with our EXPO exhibitors.
