The lights get turned down and the music turned up, as the world's best track riders battle across six nights of epic racing in Berlin Velodrome. Starting in 1909, the Berlin Six Day Race is the oldest six-day race in the world. From Madisons and time trials to spectacular sprints and the legendary derby, each night sees race after race in quick succession against the backdrop of a proper party atmosphere.
From afterwork party night to half term family treat, Six Day Berlin laps all other track cycling events. And then laps them again. And does it with 10 thousand spectators per night.
We are looking for positive, motivated and committed volunteers as a part of our Six Day Berlin team. This is a fun, exciting and fast event. If you want to experience a high-class cycling event from behind the scenes, make new friends and gain valuable experience, then this is the place to be!
There are numerous volunteering areas - starting from media center and guest services to accreditation and marketing. All volunteers should be at least 16 years old and be able to communicate in German. We expect you to be available on at least 3 nights between 24.01.2018 and 29.01.2018.
Apart from the fantastic experience and meeting like-minded people, as a volunteer you will receive:
- Free entrance on all event days
- Two free tickets for your friends/family on 2 event days
- Catering 1 time per day on your “working days”
- A team-shirt; volunteer’s certificate
- BVG Ticket for your “working days”
- A special “thank you gift”
- Entrance to the final party (above 18 years old)
