The Southeast Asian Games (also known as the SEA Games), is a biennial multi-sport event involving participants from the current 11 countries ofSoutheast Asia. The games is under regulation of the Southeast Asian Games Federation with supervision by the International Olympic Committee(IOC) and the Olympic Council of Asia.

True to the spirit of volunteerism and that fact that the Kuala Lumpur 2017 is a non-profit sporting event organised to celebrate ASEAN and its people, there is no monetary rewards that will be offered for your services, only the opportunity to be part of this momentous occasion and history. However, the organisers do provide basic necessities, such as (a) Daily food non-cash allocation; (b) Official volunteer t-shirt and trousers; (c) Certificate of participation.
