Event description

The best student beach volleyball players from all over the world will meet in Munich/Germany to participate at the 9th World University Beach Volleyball Championship. From 9th - 13th of July 2018 they will determine their champions on brand new courts in the historical Olympic Park. This worldly known arena offers ideal conditions for international major events and meets the highest requirements. A colourful supporting program and locals’ unique enthusiasm for sports can be expected. The hosts, the German University Sports Federation (adh), the Technical University of Munich (TUM), celebrating its 150th anniversary year, and their partners are looking forward to welcoming guests, spectators and about 200 participants from all over the world.

If you want to be part of the WUC Beach Volleyball as a volunteer – you are welcome in our team in summer 2018! The WUC is a volley festival - not only for athletes, but for volunteers too. We offer… a young, dynamic and international team in a friendly work climate; to gain insight into the organisation of a professional and international sport event; socializing and encounters with students and athletes from all over the world; a premium outfit for your work as a volunteer; accommodation and boarding on site; an introductory training for your tasks as a volunteer; a written certificate of your voluntary work (employer's reference). What is expected of you… be excited about sport events; be available in the time of the WUC Beach Volleyball. Additionally, we will need assistance prior to the event, where you also have the opportunity to make an active contribution; be communicative, open-minded and flexible; enjoy working in a team; have a good knowledge of the English language.
